200 inch typical vs 200 inch nontypical

I have a typical that grosses over 200. I would love to have a 220 nontypical next to him on the wall someday.

Not sure if I have seen more than 1 or 2 over 200 typical

This is the record typical, coming in at 226” net and 232” Gross. 30” beams and 30” inside spread. 22” G2’s. Freaking unreal.

This isn't out of reach. In 2019 I was checking in a 160-inch and the biologists tells me, you got a nice buck but these are out there if you can find em. And he shows me a picture of a local guy with a buck like that. CO.

Oh yeah. I found about a 190” clean typical last year with a tag in my pocket, but he was just outside of the BLM onto some desolate private property. Biggest deer I’ve ever seen on the hoof

200" typical all day long. Not Mule Deer but whitetail...If the Breen Buck (202") came out next to the Tucker Buck (non typ record 312") I would kill the Breen buck 10/10 times.

That's a simple way to think about it. I'd also take the Breen buck every time. And I'd take the James Jordan Buck 10/10 times if he was in the lineup.

Having seen only a handful of 200+” bucks I’d have to say I’d take the 200” typical 9 times out of 10. I can’t say for certain that I’ve ever seen a true 200” clean typical tho I’m sure there’s been 1 that’s been close. Just something about a buck being THAT big without any junk.

I agree a clean typical 200” buck has to look HUGE! The trashy bucks are cool in their own way though, but if I could pick I’d go with a 200” typical. Biggest buck I have ever seen, would probably go 180.

Ive been fortunate enough to kill a 240 nt. My biggest typical is 187. Not to sound greedy, but I really would love to find that magical 200" typical.

A buck with a 200”+ frame is amazing no matter what.

200”+ net typical is next level… so rare.

I do think most of the monsters like that are on private. Public gets hammered too much to produce many. The one I mentioned was from private.

This one is 6 inches short of grossing 200 as a four point. Saw one that was likely bigger during the winter of 87/88. Sure wish I had a good camera back then.
