Some days I wish they would just ban this guy.

Other days, I think I need to hear about this desert sheep hunt at 12800 feet, with a Winchester m70 .270 topped with a 55 year old Leupold, guided by the best guide in the state. Then I feel the need to hear even more about burning 15 points on the best mulie hunt in the state.

I also really dig people telling me how jealous I am of them.

No, OP only has one shot kills. He never had to shoot anything twice.

That extra hole is where the deer stabbed itself after listening to OP talk about the cabin full of animals and his legendary, god like .270.
I heard that they see that 270 “topped with a Leupold” and instantly kill themselves; hoping for a chance to end up in the trophy cabin of wonder.

Well, the one thing positive about this thread and hunt, it will eventually be over, one way or the other.
Hopefully we will see a nice ram, enjoy a great story and viola!

I’m waiting till the heat subsides ( it’s 104* )and the road to Los carrizo Mx. gets maintained again from prisidio tx
plus the horses and pack mule don’t last long in the heat

I seriously can’t wait too hear the conclusion. 5B archery being the best archery tag in the state is debatable, it’s a great unit but there are other units that don’t have the publicity that B gets that produce great bucks.
