I saw on another thread he claims he had a custom 6.5 PRC built and has confirmed kills on deer at 965 yards. Wonder why he went out and bought a brand new franchi 6.5 PRC for his sheep hunt?

He also has 11 different caliber pre-64’s…….

only shoot’s 20 gauge Franchi for waterfowl

2 time trap champion…..

Sounds to me like he's saying he hit a charging grizzly 8 times. With a 270. So he emptied his gun and reloaded all while the grizzly was "charging". He also claims 3 bullets bounced off the bears skull.
This is how I interrupted it as well but call BS. He has never had to shoot anything twice with the hand of God .270.

I am appalled that this thread has been going for 12 days and I just found it. @fngTony can we get some kind of alert system for high-off-the-rails-potential threads so this kind of thing doesn't happen again?
We need an alert button for the different groups. Meme hole gang alert button. Bring on the assholes alert button. Eats popcorn and watches alert button. You push it and it PMs the people in that group with a link.

There's a lot to unpack here.

The cover was my dads killed, mine was charging, died@40 yards. 2 day horse ride and 7 hour flight for help in the yukon.

So bear was charging him and he was able to unload eight .270 rounds and yet the charging bear still died 40 yards away from him? And three of those rounds hit the bear's skull and bounced off?

Don't most bears charge from less than 100 ft? So this bear must have started charging him from like 400 yards away? Fellas, I think the ROAL REAPER might actually be Uncle Jimbo from South Park.
