1st elk hunt success

I want to start by saying thanks to this community. After months of reading these forums, and trying to soak in all the information I can, a good buddy and myself had a successful elk hunt. We hunted a late hunt in Nevada. The weather was cold, snowy, and windy most of the time we were in the mountains. We hiked over 40 miles in five days and this is the bull we killed.
