1st elk hunt success

Very nice bull for a first time elk hunt. How many points did you have to draw the hunt?

7 points. I had a buddy draw the same hunt with 3 points

Great job! I also got the late bull tag this year and got the one in my pic. These are great hunts and we all lucked out on snow coming a bit later this year. You'll love the meat.

Awesome! I'm glad you had success. A lot of the people we talked to on the way out had not seen a single bull. Most were truck hunting the burns though. The meat is great. I think we got in a little over our heads and processed it our selves
