I'm a huge a-bolt fan, great guns. I have 2 a-bolt 2's which have the neat rotating bolt sleeve. Good find.

What sort of scope are you looking for? I would be keeping an eye open for a gloss black Leupold VX-IIc or some other similar.

Love my Medallion 7mag. Been having it since the BOSS came out with browning in the early 90's. Still shoot amazing. One thing you may consider is the make a trigger spring that will make the trigger lighter. There isn't much support for it but the trigger spring definitely helps.




Also just noticed in the pics, looks like the floor plate was changed. Mine is gloss like the action. Yours appears to be matte, or maybe its just the pic. All in all, love the wood and I love the clip mounted in the hinge floor plate.

Almost looks like a medallion stock. Either way one of my favorite series of older rifles.
