if you really want to split the difference, get a 260 ackley improved. Have your gun smith make you a burner barrel and buy ~500 pieces of brass to fireform using the cheapest 6.5 bullets

260 Ackley is 100 fps faster than the creed and 100 fps slower than the prc

I'm thinking about going to a 6.5 PRC for one and only one reason - shooting all-copper bullets at 3000fps.

For everything else, why not the RokSlide Special in 223?
