Still a tough decision. They both performed great and exactly how they were intended to perform. I’m setting up a big 30 cal now and think I’m going to shoot the 181 hammers as long as they’re accurate and produce 3400+FPS.

3400 + would do a number on animals! I shoot the 181 out of my won mag right at 3000 with out pushing it really hard

It was with me on an antelope hunt this past fall. Some miscommunication with a buddy ended with a steep 1/4 away shot at about 250 yards bullet entered the back hip and stopped just under the hide on the opposite front shoulder. It penetrated the full length of the buck very happy with how the bullet preformed recovered the shank and 2 or 3 pieces that broke off.

Awesome!! Did the shank look how it was supposed to? And were the recovered pedals decent sized?

The shank did it had a slight mushroom and I didn't weigh the pedals but 1 was pretty good size then a little smaller and the 3rd was pretty small
