.166 stoke inserts

So I have about 2 dozen VAP and Pierce arrows I’m needing inserts for. What should I get?

I will consider these when I move to .166, mainly because of the steel sleeve.

I have used these on my BEA Ximpacts and they will spin true if you take the time to set them properly.
They also really help to beef up the integrity of the shaft even more and allow FOC choices.

Ethics Archery makes a system that’s pretty slick

Personally I use deep six stainless insert and a black eagle outsert over top, very strong front end and tight tolerance for a true spin

I was eyeing up that ethics archery system.

I tried the D6 system and was not impressed. The ferule is the weakness. Had several break and blow out the side of the arrow.

Keep us posted. Do you weigh all your components? If you plan to cut any weight of the outsert, let us know how easy it is to cut the weight and remain precise?

I do weigh things but not sure if I’ll be cutting these. I ordered the aluminum insert and stainless collar.
