Anyone use a set of 15X Binos on the range. Was wondering how far you could pick out bullets holes.

I do quite often, I think they work well out to 1,000 etc too.
Overall, I'm really happy with 15x56 on a tripod

Depends on the glass, target and caliber, but the furthest is about 300ish. And, some squinting at times.

But, I use a piece of white foam board from the dollar store and a 1/2 or 1/3” dot sticker. In the white foam board it leaves a good hole and makes a shadow.

They are great for steel, I prefer a spotter even a cheap one works well for punching paper over a pair of binos.

Im actually thinking of trading my Swaro Spotter for quality 15X Binos and just getting a cheap spotter for the range.

I use a celestron spotter at the range. It's good enough to see holes and can be replaced easily.
