Maven C4 15x vs Athlon Cronus G2 15x

Anyone have any experience with these two? Is one better than the other or are they too similar to choose?
Looking to pick up a pair of 15x in this price range.

I don't have any experience with the mavens but I have spent time behind the athlons and I'd say just save up for better ones. There's a big difference between say the ziess 15x and the athlon. Or slc's and the athlon. The diminishing returns point hasn't been hit yet.

For another couple hundred bucks you can snag a used pair of Maven B5s. I’d hold out and buy the best you can afford.
