Now that season is over, I am catching up on some editing. My 12 year old son, Sam, has 2 years of rifle hunting under his belt, but this was his first season being able to hunt with a bow. I decided to upgrade his bow for his birthday in April and we got it dialed in quick. When season rolled around, we wasted no time getting out and putting his practice to good use!
Hope you enjoy.

Nice job kid, what are his bow and arrow specs?
He’s shooting a Bowtech Amplify with Easton Axis arrows. I’d have to weigh them again, but I think total arrow weight is somewhere around 420 grains. I have them tipped with 125 gr slick trick, Viper tricks. Looked at a lot of different bows, and without spending a small fortune, I felt the amplify was the best option in terms of adjustability for draw length and weight as he grows.

great job kid, and while a lot of the desire and potential can be genetic, it’s pops who saw it and taught him how to polish it. That a successful team right therr
