108 ELDM Optimal Jump to Lands

I got a Muellerworks installed on my Howa Mini chambered in 6 ARC. I have 200 rounds of loaded ammo sized for the factory barrel, but it chambers fine in new chamber.

Current reloads are sized to jump .020 in new barrel.

What have yall found the optimal jump to be for the 108 ELDM? Seems I’ve read .030 before. I might seat the already loaded ammo a little deeper.

best jump for hybrid bullets like ELDM is loaded to COAL for that bullets and cartridge or max coal for the cartridge. Hybrid bullets are design to not really be effected by jump

my testing is limited on the 6dasher mini. But with 108 seconds from midway, it basically shoots moa’ish regardless of jump or powder charge, within reason.

I made some notes that .075 off and .025” both shot great across different charges, with me gravitating to loading closer just to get more capacity.

Again, any charge of Varget lever or 8208 close to max charges all shot these bullets tight. I tried a few different OAL’s between .025” and .090” off testing out feeding and load development.

I have a feeling you won’t see a big difference between .020 and .030.

I've ways had solid accuracy wirh several eldm bullets in various calibers jumping 45-55k

Agree 40-45 seems to work well enough for me that I usually start there and rarely deviate from it.

I don't think it's a one size fits all answer but mine are sitting at 25 off.
