Fun range day today still a lot of work to do.
43.5 grains of staball 6.5 is getting me the speeds I want. 10 more loaded up at 43.5 grains will tell more of the story… IMG_2819.jpegIMG_2819.jpegIMG_2819.jpeg

I just had a 1-8 243win put together on a M70 PF. To do this exact thing hoping for 3k fps with a 22in tube, but my first go around will be H4350.
Thanks for posting

Thanks for posting, I’m getting ready to start reloading for my factory tikka 1-8 .243 win I just got . Plan on trying Staball 6.5 and H4831sc with the 108 eldm, so I am very interested in your results. What kind of brass are you using? I was thinking about trying lapua but not sure if it is worth the extra cost.

I’m always tempted to try top shelf brass, I just have too much other stuff on hand to get through first. Hornady, Remington etc.
I’d like to see someone’s else’s results using better quality brass. Just velocity and number of firings.

I’m the same way. I’m sure if I was a bench rest shooter id be different. I’m just a construction worker who like to hunt and tinker lol

looks like 43.5 charge weight work. Now time to find a node to load for around your desired speed. Did you choose one?

I’m going to load up 5 @ 43.3, 10 @ 43.5 and 5 @ 43.7 and see what happens. Once I find a good node I’ll call it a day.
