I just don’t think I can bring myself to sort these like y’all are. I’ve never done that with any other bullet and I don’t think I will start lol. I’ll tinker some more and if I can’t get them to shoot reasonably I will sell them for what I paid but I hope that isn’t the case

unprepped alpha virgin 6 creed brass and loaded/shot 7 of them with unimpressive results in a 7.5 twist. There was a ton of seating pressure (you can see the damaged ogives on pic i posted with them and 108 EH)
I'm guessing to much neck interference and not enough bevel?

Idk, I have a bunch of alpha 6cm srp bought new last year. Neck tension is 0.0015-0.002 Un-prepped. I'm still shooting virgin and it's been half moa or better on paper at 300-400y with 108eh Bergers and rl16 at 3050fps. Just for curiosity sake, I did take 10 and mandrel with expander that typically leaves 0.0015 tension and did a chamfer/debur and it shot the same. I'm jumping them 30k in a long throat chamber so there's only maybe 0.180 of neck holding the bullet. This will result in less neck tension interference VS seating much deeper. These 106 tap bullets have fairly short bearing tho, similar to the 108 elite hunter on my 6mm comparator.

My hope is dwindling. I have a bunch of them if anyone is looking.
The 6cm made a 1.25" group, that gave me hope. I could live with that. I was also in a wicked hurry, but don't think I shot bad. 5 shots as fast as I could, switched guns and repeated.

I'm headed to the range tomorrow. Hopefully the fog isn't still thick as pea soups as I've got 300y stuff to test too. Curious of the velocity of the 6gt loads? I've never have my 6gt shoot anything worse than moa. You almost have to try make that cartridge shoot bad.

If nothing else these 106's have reassured my belief in the "your groups are to small" theory. I have shot. ~-.010 -.030 -.060 -.100, 20shot groups in each of my 1:8 6cm and 6dasher rifles. 5 and even 10 shot groups can be cherry picked to look pretty good but if round count is increased to 20 group size seems to fall into that ~1.2" size with both rifles.

I wanted chronograph but didn't have time. My 6gt has always shot really well also. Maybe I'll try another powder.

I shot 5 shot groups for a quick eval. In 6mm GT, temp was 29° DA 2150', 36.3gr H4350, es 22 2951-2972, 9/10 were 2951-2962. Group #1 was 10k off, group 2 was 50k off. I'll load 20 more at 10k jump and shoot a couple 10 shot groups and see what happens.

I'm glad I don't work for any of you! My standards are much lower. If I threw out 1.25" for ten (even 5 who am I kidding) on an anyday at the range, I'd stick it on the fridge.
If I can't print repetitive half moa 5 shot with same poi on paper at 3-400y, I switch powders or keep tuning lol.

I bought 1k midway 6.5 147g 2nds with translucent tips. They are incredibly consistent even better than new eldm but about .010 shorter. A few in each box are missing tips but they shoot very well.

Edit- they were $21 now price is $30
