$1000 spotting scope under 85mm recommendations

Just looking for some advice. I'm an Arizona hunter and do most of my gassing using 12x50 Swarovski El's on a tripod. I'm mostly deer hunting. I want to buy a spotting scope for under $1000. There are so many out there between $600 and $1000. Anyone use something in this price range and is it worth spending the extra money. I won't be under it very much but to look through brush and get a closer look at an animal I catch on the binos. I understand the importance of good glass but not sure about the benefits of a really expensive spotter if your not sheep hunting or glassing all day with them. I see alot of vortex razors and some kowas in that price range. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I think the Meopta Meopro 20-60x80 has to be on your list here. I have one and it's incredible. Clarity compares with my more expensive Kowa 553. Got mine used on ebay right at $1000.
