That's amazing. Screens have largely changed childhood for the worse. Glad I grew up without them. And leading by example is important.

My concern is as the kids transition into the world of screens in school. How to keep them from falling off the deep end.
The key is the parents not being attached and not just making it an unspoken thing. They’re aware screens and all, and watching a movie with family is fine, but by reducing their exposure when they’re young, it helps them form healthy habits later on. Just like nutrition, if you eat healthy growing up, you’ll continue to eat healthy and better be able to control your urges later on even when junk food is available. On that note, we also do no added sugar.
