All the people I know including myself that run older Hardy’s seem to have the normal wear and tear stuff go bad like the water pump maybe an aqua stat or relay but not often. I’ve only had to change my pump once in 10 years and I think my relay. My cousin runs 50% ethylene glycol in his so he...
I use a Leupold micro on my G40 gen 4 even though mine is mos I didn’t want a big red dot sight. It fastens in the dovetail after you remove the rear sight. I’ve shot it out to 50 yards and was happy with the performance.

I never used a warmer in mine, never felt I had to. I wear the strngfleece 220 under the glommit but it’s so when I take the glommit off my hands don’t start freezing immediately. IMO they are very warm and will be in my pack if it’s below freezing.

My ENT prescribed a Budesonide Inhalation Suspension. It’s a medication I add to 8oz of distilled water with a saline packet to rinse through my nasal cavity. It definitely works for me!

If the case has the room for the extra powder and you want more speed with the same components that you already have go for it. You would have to keep on top of the +p rounds vs the non so you don’t load a +p in a non +p chamber.

I have my Ridgeline in the VG2 ultra light and it’s the m24/proof sendero. I’m not up on the FFT’s so not sure if it has the same barrel contour.

Is there a company that makes 30-06 ai ammo for you since you don’t reload? I guess I’m lost on your 3006 ai shooting 300 ai!

I agree that the severity is much different but I still feel a person can get comfortable doing bad things negating the severity of their actions in their own mind.

How does one become a poacher? He or she gets caught! IMO most people don’t think what they are doing is all that bad, until they get caught. I would bet most people are guilty of speeding down a road or highway, you’re breaking the law but if you don’t get caught you still do it. If you get...
Weather mainly ice/snow has stopped my group from traveling some mountain roads in MT a couple times. The rental truck was fine and I don’t believe any of our personal trucks would have been any better.

You could look at the Banish 46. It can be run in 2 configurations one around 10” the other around 8”. I’m not sure how short the barrel recommendation is but shot the 338 Terminator with it a few times. SC did say i could run it on the rifle.

I think that’s a good place to start! It easier to build fundamentals than brake bad habits. Not all bad habits come from recoil but it definitely can and will cause issues.

Do you know anyone with any of the calibers you are considering that will let your son shoot them? I’m all about reducing recoil for comfort and helping stay on target to spot shots so a brake or suppressor is use on most of my rifles. My daughter is 16 now and she has been choosing the rifle...
I have the Kuiu strong fleece 220 under the down pro glomitt and keeps me warm. I’ve sat in the stand here in Ohio for hours while in the teens and my hands stayed warm. While glassing as day broke a few times in MT this year the temp was around 0* and still warm hands.

I think the zero stop is a pain on the pst2 and it had to be sent back because the parallax failed other than that it’s performed well. The strike eagle zero stop was easy haven’t had any issues with it to date and has performed well. The SE has a 34mm tube.

I have a good friend I hunt with a lot and work with that is red green color blind. This year was the first time he hunted elk and MT was always his dream hunt but he had a hard time seeing the elk until the snow fell! We would glass elk most mornings and afternoons between 850 and 1200 yards...
