Looking for a load to be used on elk or grizzly from my 300WM Ridgeline. Searching I see a lot of success in this rifle platform using the Berger 215, but I'm not sure that's the best bullet for a grizzly...then again I'm anticipating 200yds or less and a good broadside shot perhaps it doesn't matter. Either way, please share your favorite load and results (both groups and actual kill shots). I'd also appreciate what jump and OGIVE used. Thank you.

R-p brass, VV N570 80.5 gr, Fed215 gmm, Berger 215, .020 ol shot best but loaded just long enough to mag feed until I put Wyatt ex mag box in, avg 3000 fps on 80* day. This load shoots very good to 1k in my ridgeline!

My rifle is not CA but it is .300 WM and I use the 215 Berger. This component combination gave me great grouping (1/2” if I remember correctly) and has brought me lots of deer, elk, antelope and a bison home.

My rifle is lightweight and I have never tried to improve that grouping, but it maintains that accuracy out to distance. I know that I am a variable in that accuracy!

My bison was roughly 100 yards away when I shot him. He only took one step then tipped over. This confirmed my confidence in the 215 Berger on thick, heavy boned animals.
