Man, I wish. It’s the 122nd day of October here in Southcentral AK. Sprinkling and 33 degrees at 8 AM on my back porch. I could fire up the mower and do the whole yard today if I wanted to.

Hopefully once they turn the weather machine keys over to Trump this afternoon we can finally get some damn snow and cold so we can salvage at least a few months of skiing. This blows!

We hit a frigid 27 this morning outside Seattle. OK, I know that sounds wimpy but that is 15-20 degrees below normal.

I use to work up north installing power transformers and never failed, we would have to do a install at what seemed like record cold temps. Working all day in -30* is rough.

My family has owned property in North Central WI for quite some time. My brothers and I were there in the winter hare hunting one year and one morning it was -45. I swear your pee froze before it hit the ground and if you opened your mouth it felt like your tongue froze.

30 right now at 3:30 pm Nw NM. Wind makes it feel like 12. Tomorrow morning is supposed to be around 2. Really cold weather here doesn’t last long. A few days to a week and warms back up to high 30’s or mid 40’s.
