FROM PAST EXPERIENCE!
Your PTO drive shaft attaches to a gearbox on the top of the tiller.
From that gearbox, trace the drive train/shafts all the way to the tiller shaft.
CHECK EACH AND EVERY GEARBOX for gear lube.
Buddy of mine has a John Deere 1035E with a tiller to match. (factory kit...
Bird?
Well, the turkey gets my vote!
Coming at you gobbling and strutting gives me an adrenaline rush like no other!
........
But I just love shotgunning!
Honestly, I've only done one Euro mount.
A friend loaned me his "Buck Boiler Bucket" (Wal-Mart?).
Remove as much material as possible.
Tongue, eyeballs, cheeks, lips, etc, etc.
The antlers were wrapped in tinfoil up to the brow tine junction.
A few drops of Dawn and a good dollop of hydrogen...
Pro photographer? Not me!
Just a crippled up old toot that totes around a cell phone with a camera, ergo, poor quality photos! LOL!
Planted sun flowers for my bees. When I went out this morning to check and water the garden, I caught these two bees gathering pollen.
A honey bee only lives +/-...
IIRC, one of the Hawaiian islands has a population of feral cattle that they allow to be "hunted".
I also understand that those feral cattle have nasty dispositions and .375 H&H at least is suggested!
The drug cartels keep half starved horses on the US side of the border.
They move them to Mexico, load them with contraband and turn them loose. They return to the last place they were fed.....in the US.
This works especially well between El Paso and San Ysidro where there are no natural obstacles.
Folks that haven't experienced "border" just can't comprehend that the drug cartels don't give "two hoots in hell" about human life, much less cattle, wildlife, screw worms, sterile flys or anything else except controlling their "territory" and extracting trespass fees out if anything or anyone...
Bangs (brucellosis) is, and has been here for ages. They tested every cow for "Bangs" (brucellosis) at the auction barn as they unloaded them.
Brucellosis is one of the many diseases spread by feral hogs along with pseudorabies.
Anthrax was first discovered in America in Jim Hogg County in South...
The Mexican cartels along our southern border are charging something like $3500/flight for the helicopters to release the sterile flies in Mexico.
Back in the 50's and 60's, Mexico was tickled to allow those flights for free if it helped beat back the pest.
I can't say this enough! Help him start a hunting journal!
When you're old and grey and he's taking YOU hunting, you can go back and read your exploits!
BTW!
Congrats!
Nice bird!
Please tell me you're working on that youngster keeping a "Hunting Journal"!
They don't have to rewrite "War & Peace". Just a few words about who was there and kinda what happened!
I started going hunting with my dad and grampa when I was 3 years old! That was 72 years ago! LOL!
It didn't dawn...
Screw worm Flys are getting near our southern border with Mexico.
They not only affect the livestock industry, they are devastating to wildlife, especially deer!

"Are turkeys harder to kill?"
Well, "NO!"! Center that golf ball sized noggin in your pattern and they crumple into a pile of feathers! LOL!
Now, getting one into position to shoot is whole other ball game!
I have public land within 1 mile. I refuse to hunt it. During deer season and turkey...
Well, it's been 7 years!
Last bird I killed was in the fall of 2018.
Before the next turkey season opened that spring, I had shoulder replacement surgery. Doc says "No shooting for one year!"
Then, Oklahoma had a "pox" move through, wiping out a goodly portion of the turkey population! ☹️
Can't...
My wife worked in OR's and ER's. Other than barking orders, doctors often bantered back and forth with their doctor brethren as to vehicles, golf, etc, etc....
One of the most often mentioned autos was the Jaguar. Even though the doctor's complained of the cars spending alot of time on the shop...
Well, apparently the fashion industry, though not very masculine is stupid also!
Dylan "Mr. Bud Lite" has been signed to represent Versace fashions!
REAL American women are incensed!
In eastern Oklahoma, there are a few Eastern × Rio cross turkeys.
Could that be a RiEast? Maybe an EaRio?
You know us "suthen red necks"! We'd cross a seed tick and a porcupine to get a "prickly tick" or vice versa! LOL!
