    Let’s talk Broadheads!

I would say most of them have been pretty good. Blood is usually pretty sparse for the first 10 or so yards. Most of the time the deer don’t really react and run too wild, and I've never had one go more than 100 yards (knock on wood). Mainly comes down to shot placement like any other head.

    Let’s talk Broadheads!

I've shot the SB 125 standards for a few years now and I've been super impressed. I've got one head that has been through 4 deer and after a little time on the sharpener still looks brand new. Super easy to sharpen and they tune super easy for me.

    Broadhead weight vs Insert weight

If you wanted to get real anal and get as close as possible you could weigh all the components and mix and match weights to get probably within a few grains. But even if you didn't you more than likely wouldn't see much of a POI change

    Removing inserts from Easton FMJ

+1 for always using cool/hot melt when installing HIT's. The Iron will HIT insert tool is worth the investment as well in my opinion.

    Removing inserts from Easton FMJ

The drill bit trick can work sometimes, but I've seen bits of carbon come out with the insert. If you're using the brass or a solid HIT insert always remove the nocks otherwise it will create a suction when pulling the tool out and could cause you're issue.
