Cheap basic fishing gear

Just some experience try and find a good closed face reel much less problems in the dark or on windy days. Second if you must go open face take a heaver lure and cast as far as you can and wrap tape around the spool wind up the line and you can only have a mess as far down as the tape. Trust me...

ALICE Frame

I am 6.0 foot and the ALICE pack fits good for bug out me and for the wife a LIBE or smaller living on a hill a tornado could take the house out.:o

Under Armour vs wool

The U/A for run and gun and the wool for stalking or on stand . This is what has worked best for me.

Happy NEW Year every one!. Ok I am from S/E Wi with places up north I use a large Alise pack with external frame for summer. ILBE main pac usmc GEN 2 for cold weather. These packs to me are like rifle slings thick for light clothes and thin for heavy clothes. Did not want to get any one all...

I have a question is it just me ?.Only one back pack is talked about on this forum is this site owned and ran buy this pack maker or are most of you from the area where these packs are made?. Just saying, at my local gander mountain three nice pack mfgrs and none were kifaru.

What's your favorite backpacking stove?

It has been many years since camping my question is what ever happened to safe heat or sterno . The small can of jell with a wick. At 9 1/4 oz and six hour burn time. Three of them fit into a mag pouch heat and heating for a four day fall hunt . Just saying.

Cold weather pants help

Try thinsalate lined blue jeans I put naked north wind and water proof top and bottom mine are snow camo. sportsmans ware house had the best prices. It is soft and packs small.
