Elk arrow and broadhead selection for lower poundage?

Skip the paper and have her walk back tune the bow. Use the paper to start a fire! Imo it is far better and more consistent.

    The Quintessential Backpack Prep

I agree there is only so much that can be fixed in the field. I guess I have a lot to learn about minimal gear... I was thinking about 3-4 Allens maybe some serving string. This wouldn't weigh much and hopefully not be used which goes against what most of you would pack.

All this is great info, but what about Allens or other misc tools for your bow? Do you guys carry these things?

    Best ankle support

Ok I will do that. Last time I rolled mine I tore 2 tendons, rather not do that in the mountains! Would make for a long crawl!

    Best ankle support

I'm new around here! I'm planning a 2015 Co archery hunt. Im in the get in shape, research gear phase. I have a bad ankle that tends to roll due to a bad back surgery. Right now I'm leaning towards the lowa tiblet hi for the hunt. Would there be a better option for ankle support??
