When I'm hunting, I'm enjoying being out all the time. Watching all the critters move. Seeing their patterns. Identifying familiar horns...

    Buy once, don't cry at all. That's how this works. ;) I have RRS tripods that have been in heavy use for a decade. Still tight, still quiet, and work awesome.

    RRS tfct-34 anvil 30 (33 legs are nice too... they just don't get as small for packing) For glassing, you can grab a mini-fluid head from smallrig and clamp it on the anvil 30. Fluid heads are the best in the world for glassing, but the anvil 30 is the best for shooting off of.

    Is he a tiny dude? I've seen some pictures that make deer look huge with some tiny people holding the horns. It seems like it should be so much bigger than 170".

    Decent pronghorn are not easy to come by in my unit, but I found one this year! 143yd chip shot with the 6mm PRC Primal off the tripod and down he went.
