Took last week off to hunt but ended up doing more honey do’s than sitting in a tree. Still have temps from 65-75 in Ga slowed rut down tremendously. With does not coming into heat the mature bucks had no reason to seek on my farm. Saw plenty of 3 yo bucks running around which was fun.

Found an old school power lifting gym with no mirrors, so that means no posing no Instagramers no 20-30 y.o. looking for dates and sitting on machines. I can get in and grind it out. Some of the Cybex and hammer strength machines we had in our football gym in college 30 years ago.

Make sure you’re in shape for the terrain you plan on hunting in. I’ve hunted with friends who couldn’t trek mountains in elevations of San Juan or gunnison pass. They told me they were in shape but clearly they didn’t put in the work. Train harder than you plan to hunt.
