I'm looking at getting a Stone Glacier scope cover and it looks like the RS1.2 is right on the edge between a size Medium vs Large. Has anyone gotten one and is there any advice on sizing?
Unfortunately tatsu was sold out so I ended up with "Black sapphire”. The fit is absolutely excellent and I hope this thing lasts me a decade like my last Goretex shell.
I'm 6'2" and 180lb. I tried a Kuiu Kutana and couldn't have been more disappointed in the fit. I have a long neck and big head and the hood literally wouldn't fit over my head with a pack on. The sleeves were also quite short. I seriously prefer hoods that are marketed as helmet compatible...

I just got my order. I haven't had a chance to shoot off of it yet but lying down behind my rifle it feels great. I cannot believe how light the bag is too!
Look into Evoke Endurance. One of the UA founders as well as something like 17 out of 18 total coaches all chose to leave UA and found a separate company. Their products are very similar.
No Chrono for me but the stuff shoots great out of my T3X. Ignore the stray 22 hole in the middle of the group. The rest of the 22 holes are hidden under my hand.
I just got one and for mine with a nighttime sky background it bleeds a ton on high power(8-10) but seems perfectly usable at low power(1-3). That said I so far feel like the reticle is just fine for our local shooting hours in WA. But maybe I'll change my mind at some point.
Check out the Feathered Friends Khumbu Parka (13 oz fill) coupled with the Volant or Frontpoint Pants.
The caveat is that I don't have experience with any of those options but have been quite happy with some of their lighter weight gear.
What's the rifle set up that you're doing this with? Your videos coupled with a recent form video of shooting a coyote really have shown the value of recoil control.
Thanks man!
Which fabric are you looking at? The older X22 that I have was a bit noisy the first few years but has broken in quite nicely and I don't notice it at all.
Cougar hunting in the Washington Cascades yesterday involved blow down burned timber with no bark, 18" of snow and side-hilling ~35 degrees rocky slopes. Anyone that can get through a day of that without falling should either be on a gymnastics team or a wide receiver!
Edit: My god why did I...
I wish! For clarities sake that 52 lbs was including the clothes and boots that I was wearing, rifle, binos etc. If I wasn't born in it it got weighed. Just trying to provide a counter point to "my pack weighs 18 lbs but that doesn't count the clothes I'm wearing, binos, rifle or all the food...
Today I went out cougar hunting in deer winter range. Since I knew I'd be around a bunch of deer I threw in my spotter and tripod as well. I had enough clothes to sit in 30° temps in 1.5 feet of snow and was wearing pac boots. I weighed all my crap, including clothes and was walking around with...
