I got these 3 kills on video this last season with the trigger cam. Shooter perspective. I think I was probably on 10-12X magnification for all of them. Youtube just blows the view up really close for some reason. But you can see the animal never leaves the center of the scope by very much.

The longer aoudad video where the reticle shifts 4 Mils, I had my rear bag vertical and was squeezing it as tall as I could to get enough downward angle on the rifle. And you can see it has extra movement because of that small difference in rear support. Cool see the effect it has for sure.

Thanks! Technique and gear matter.

And, nothing like a 180 grain 7mm bullet to drop animals on the spot. My 7 isn’t as fast as yours, but it’s a hammer too.

Nice shooting! Did the bullet exit on the pig? It looked like you were lined up to possibly get a double.

The 180 ELDM’s has been great for me also man. My buddy and I went 5 bucks and 3 elk all with good terminal performance.

The bullet did exit on the pig, and I was actually intentionally trying to avoid the double kill on the piglet. They only like to kill mature boars out there and maintain the future pig crop haha

It’s a small Phoenix shooting bag and I cut the straps off it. I carry it everywhere. I think it weighs 5oz.

This was actually the setup on that on shot.

What's the rifle set up that you're doing this with? Your videos coupled with a recent form video of shooting a coyote really have shown the value of recoil control.

Thanks man!
It's it's an 11lb rifle with a muzzle brake. A muzzle brake helps immensely with recoil. But you definitely need ear protection. These shots were also made in the prone position. But I've killed a pile of coyote seated off a bipod with a 10lb 300 Norma Mag Improved and also had zero problem watching them fold up in the scope. It's mostly the rifle weight, muzzle brake, low magnification and having a decent point of stability for shooting. But I am never really "lost" after breaking a shot. I won't shoot a rifle platform that recoils that much, or from a rest that shitty.

I'm sure Form shot that coyote from a seated position of some sort or something not optimal as well.
