What’s your draw length? At 68# with 170 gr up front, your first arrow is weak, not sure of the spine on your next arrow.

You’re bow won’t necessarily tune based on your arrow being 90° perpendicular to your string. You can tie it there but when you shout your arrows, then you can determine what moves to make. Some bows will prefer a nock high or maybe even a nock low. You can only find that out once you start...
Do you “think” it’s going to be a bit high or have you tried tuning it and determined it’s a bit high?
If you’re gentle you can easily cut off nock points with a razor, it can be scary at first, just go slow.
It’s the offset of the pins forward and backwards, it helps if your stacking pins really tight together. If your bottom pin is offset closer to you and you want to add another pin below it you would order a pin that is offset closer to the target.
Yeah that’s not good. Your string is over twisted and both your cables have almost no twists. Do you still have the old strings to compare the lengths to? Was it close to spec with the old strings?
You could shoot a 29–30”shaft, that would definitely be easier to tune. It’s up to you but as already mentioned that’s a lot of up front weight and could be problematic to tune at that draw and poundage depending on your ability. Just offering some suggestions, If you’re wanting some more weight...
If you’re shooting 70# at a 29” draw you should at minimum be at a 300 spine. You can usually get away with close to 1.5” of arrow length (sometimes more sometimes less) off of your draw length. So in your case roughly around 27.5” shaft, 30” would possibly be difficult to tune depending on...
I’m shooting VAPs with the Ethics aluminum insert and SS collar (total of 100 gr) + 100 gr point. It’s a bulletproof system. I’ve only used the aluminum shok half outs and was not happy with them. Constantly bending.
Never shot the Easton half out but I don’t care for that design, just seems...
I’ve never used them, but the IW system does look like a very strong setup. I just couldn’t do it because I like shooting my .166 shafts and don’t want to switch all points and broadheads over to deep six stuff.
If it’s just small tears with the occasional bullet hole then it’s most likely something you’re doing with grip or inconsistent anchoring or possibly even trigger punching.
How long have you been doing archery? What’s your draw length and weight and arrow spine?
You could bump the rest to the...
I’m not too sure if the Ultra bags have the same layout as the Icon’s, but on my Icon 5200 there are straps on each side of the bag and a loop in the middle to attach the lid.
