For the sake of conversation and maybe introspection, a question for those opposed to Matt's view...bear with me:
Hypothetical person A is generous with their money, generally speaking. Gives 10-15% of their income each year to educational aid organizations, a religious entity that helps...
@robby denning I think the questions you pointed to on the last page are valuable to ask ourselves even though they don’t have clear answers. How much is too much (publicity, exposure, salesmanship, etc.)?
At what point is the experience cheapened by the media ecosystem that we’ve surrounded...
@KurtR
Tag quotas have remained static or generally decreased over the last several decades, and seem likely to continue doing the same, with the exception of elk in some areas and for a variety of reasons. Quotas (resource) static or declining across the west, demand rapidly increasing = part...
@robby denning appreciate your replies.
I think the concern many of us have is that hunting media is pushing demand higher and higher, taking more from the resource at an accelerated pace, but the resource continues to diminish.
@Ryan Avery @Justin Crossley @Jared Bloomgren what do you think...

If you know what you're doing it won't take...
That time of year I'm generally in a light wool T, with a light 150 wt wool hoody, windshirt, and light puffy. Swap the windshirt for a rain shell if forecasted. The hoody and windshirt could be a mid or outer, depending on conditions. What's important is how stuff functions, not so much what...
Every once in a while I log back into Rokslide just to see if it's just the same old crap getting re-hashed. 90% by people that have no idea what they're talking about, 9% by people who do but take themselves way too seriously. Then there's a few like Huntsman and Tanner, thank God.
La Sportiva Trango Tower GTX, size 45. Only worn in the house to check fit. I have a hammer toe on one foot and the toe box is just not gonna jive with it. They've been in my closet for a couple months, need to move them along. PayPal preferred
