Yes I still use a front stabilizer only. I will never use a side bar because 1 don't want to carry and probably hook up onto something brush busting through something. I also could drop the weight in front. Between my VTM 34 and the lift 33 I am over half pound lighter. I shoot both well and...
That bow looks sweet. I think it would be perfect if the weight would drop a half pound. It is what drew me to the lift this year.

I love shooting the hoyt vtm34 until I got the lift 33. Unfortunately I have been cursed by the lift. First the limbs cracked, got fixed and two days later shot groups and didn't realize the nock was cracked and boom went the bow. I still love shooting both bows.

Just get the press. You are going to need it to changes strings/cables anyways... Could just buy an older bow to practice on. But the process is not that difficult.. Buy a good press and make your own draw board to start.
So got a new to me lift. Person bought last December and barely used it. Looked to be in new condition. I switched out the mods. Thought I had in tune noticed cable had some wear. Just thought due to match strings. Got some gas strings and top hat kit. Then new strings had wear in same spot...
Go by the hand scale. On the lca you are adding weight that is adding another directional vector pulling down on the string as your pulling back.

Seems like a good solution for still hunting around the whitetail woods. The issue is holding a bow then stopping and trying to glass with minimal movement. The hook on waist belt does not seem to work well. Standing it up every time or balance on leg is PITA. So far I like this concept. I put...
I am stringless with this. I have a para ordnance warthog. Sweet shooting 45 but Remington bought them out and now defunct now.... do I keep or unload...

I have been down this road a lot in the last 3 years or so. Always tinkering and it has consumed a ton of time. I played with the same vanes. I didn't like the 3 or 4 fletched 2.25 TAC. I settled on the 4 fletch 2.75 TAC for fixed blades. I have now stepped back and going back to aae max...
No experience with the browning. I picked up a the kimber hunter a few years ago and sat in safe. Finally getting more into rifle shooting this year My initial trial was less then stellar. Such a light platform and I haven't shot much. A few things, I shortened the front scope ring screws to...
Anyone use this scope mount for the kimber hunter 84m? Any issue with the base screws being too long contact with barrel tgread like the tally rings had?

Alright guys. Just picked up my first smart watch on a good sale. I was hoping one benefit would be to use without having to carry phone. What is everyone using to play music or podcast. Spotify is out because I don't want to pay the premium and playrun won't synch... any other options?
