I'm all for dam removals after witnessing some of the positives on the Elwa River, but until you stop bottom trawlers and bycatch waste I don't see much changing.
Black ovis whites have worked well for me. I went to the reds in Utah last year and ripped both hind qaurter bags. Won't be using those ones again. Also I could hardly fit the hinds into the bags. I double checked when I got home that they were the XL and physically measured them to make sure...
Recently got one as well and have pitched it 3 times in the yard. Surprisingly easy to get pitch good with never doing it before. Plenty of room for one guy as well.
I've really enjoy the Razco holster under my bino harness paired with a 10mm. He makes them custom for most all chest rigs, and I'm running the kuiu pro harness. Can be taken off and on very easily.
I run the Befree 1L with a MSR trailshot. Super light setup and have a backup if needed. Be cautious with the filters in super cold weather as they can freeze and ultimately fail on you.
I haven't owned one yet, but I'll say this. I hit Dan up the other day about the Mid 1 Pro with the sily floor and DCF fly and I got a fantastic quick response back with a ton of information. Guy definitely seems to care about his product and is willing to take the time in an email to explain...
Not the slightest bit. For myself a belt has always caused more discomfort under the hip belt of a pack especially under heavy loads. They also seem to keep my pants from sliding down like a belt does at times.
Nothing for me. I did read that out of the 110 or so goats they moved from the Olympics into the cascades that only 3 are left. Not sure why they dieing at such a crazy rate, but that sucks.
Loosing my mind is about the most expensive thing. I know it happens after being alone in archery season for so long I start talking to nearby squirrels. Bull better bugle soon after that or I'm doomed.
Moved from Oregon to Washington. Did it for the money and fishing opportunities, and I get about as much time as I can stand after the jump. But, if I ever found a way to take my situation and transplant it into better western states I would in a heart beat.
