Who else hunts the west with a black rifle?
I remember that thread, pretty great ideas in there. Does the bolt ever unlock itself when fired? Seems unlikely. I’m definitely going to use the sfar for my cow tag, if I can go. I weighed this old .308 dpms once. The scope/rings are steel IOR stuff. Heavy. That gun weighed 11 lbs loaded... -

Montana trespass fee options
Last time I got access in Colorado I traded electrical work for it. You have to find the ranches that do not lease their property, I only stumbled upon access cause I was renting a room from the rancher while doing a job nearby. Good luck man, it is hard to come by. -

It would be easy to find, but they are not the same idiots that painted the trees. The painter hit those a few years ago. I’m pretty easy to get along with, unless you set up camp on top of me when there were plenty of better spots all over, or start spray painting trees. -

Go on a taco forum if someone here doesn’t know. My Tundra takes regular chains easily on the rear, front was a no go. And learn the traction control nanny crap. The tundra was “confused” and pretty much in limp mode till I shut off all the nanny crap.- 11boo

Common sense is no longer common. Figure out where the elk went and don’t tell anyone. Should be easy to track a large herd, good luck. -
How do you guys successfully hunt wallows
I used to sit on them often, never worked. Probably due to the sheer numbers of wallows in a small area.
