    Today was a good day.

    Today I brought home a Consew 226 that has been sheltered in a cabin it's whole life. It came with the instructions and about 15 rolls of vinyl and a bunch of thread. I just used it to repair the top on my jet boat and now I am in love.

    I ended up in Denver for work and stopped by the store. I suggest swinging by if you're in the area. Cool folks and a metric ton of stuff. I'm bummed that I'm fighting tendinitis in by bow arm or I could have shot the new stalker carbon limbs.

    Chassis question

    I got sucked into the chassis rabbit hole trying to set up a rig for my kids and wife to swap around. I am curious if anyone has tried to make any panels for the element 4.0 to eliminate holding cold metal. I'm envisioning some carbon or wood panels as insulation.....or is the hnt26 the only hope?

    Really tough day yesterday

    I went elk hunting with my muzzleloader. I was standing 10 yards from a ni BS 170" buck and I notched my tag last week on a mediocre mule deer. I got what I deserved for prematurely etagulating.
