    Biggest whitetail

Thanks everyone! This was a Kansas deer. I saw him for the first time back in October. Had several close calls with him in the last month. I’ve been moving trees pretty often trying to get in on him. He came by at less than 20 yards this day and I made a good shot. Blood sprayed all over the...

What does and doesn’t make it into your grind pile?

I have been grinding it twice through the medium plate. Seems to come out about right. I Grind meat and fat separate first grind. Then mix and grind into the bags. Gets the fat mixed in a little better on the second grind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What does and doesn’t make it into your grind pile?

I trim all fat but don’t worry to much about silver skin. Add 10-15% beef or pork fat whatever the butcher has on hand. Grind twice. I have tried it with bacon and pork butt instead of just fat and didn’t like it as much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any tips for ingrown toenails?

Everyone here is spot on. I had ingrowns for years. This is my first season after having both big toe nails permanently removed by a podiatrist. It has been a lifesaver. I wish I wouldn’t have put it off so long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    1st muley

This was my first muley and first backpack hunt where I had the tag. Dry conditions had the deer below timberline making glassing kind of tough. I shot this buck at last light while he was feeding in a lower meadow. Thanks to Felix40 for helping me pack him out. Sent from my iPhone using...
