fair enough...i have had to change lots of h1000 a couple times on this and there had been minimal change in velocity in testing in past. this new lot i was lucky to score 10 one pounders same lot so whatever it produces is what it is. thanks for response.
Ill re measure today but did so not long ago and was hard to see any change. My brass now
i just checked and new on 4/30/2017 max cbto was 3.104, on 2/13/19 was 3.117 with 523 rounds so .013 longer and today was 3.137 so .033 total in 673 rounds. i thought for sure in 2019 it hadnt changed. and...
The mile validation was prior before change. The change in dope at 870 yards that ive tested isnt a hole lot considering the amount in change, think was 16.5 min to 17 roughly… At one mile without calc it’s obviously more dramatic than 870. Its same lab radar ive had sice came out. One thing is...
recently the load i developed has dropped 45 fps or so and i am trouble shooting why. 673 is load count on barrel, all components are same, same brass prep, same tools, same barrel maintenance. original max cbto has not changed and have a bore scope to see whats going on with fouling, erosion...
Id say brake all day long on a mtn rifle for above timber or vast open areas where you have time to set up shots, non for thick timber where you may prefer no hearing protection, lesser ranges and possibly using smaller calibers with less recoil and powder charges. although....Hearing problems...
I run eldx’s in 3 of my rifles, all 30 cals.... 178’s for 308 win and 200’s, 212’s and 220’s for 300 rum. With my procedure, tools, components and rifles they obtain single digit es and sd’s and are not difficult to find loads. Validation of hornadys bc’s has been correct with tools utilized for...
this isnt a hunt by any means...basically your an exterminator. doing the states dirty work..... i wouild ask yourself if you agree on why there doing this befor applying. do you know the historical information on how and why these goats are in this range and do you agree upon reason to remove...
I also like the weight of the lithium. Looks promising, modular and good airflow perhaps. The solo double doors scenerio is a great feature. I have a big sky chinook 1p that has 2 doors, its a bomber tent but too heavy unless severe weather is forecasted. Not sure i care for the magnets to keep...
the simplicity of the exo is hard to beat..... i will be ordering a second 5500, the original pack i obtained summer 2014 has proven itself for my usage. great pack, good luck with your journey.
could put some sport wash in a cooler then fill with water and hand wash it then let air dry. after i pack a animal with my backpack i do this and it comes out like new.
super feet hunt series is what i tried this year, the trail, guide and hunt. all three were as advertised and performed accordingly. put around 250 miles on them used the trail spring through summer, guide in early fall with a few uses in summer to experiment, was great then as well but prefered...
i just did. its 2 years, although mine were purchased through one of there dealers. my conversation with salomon was if purchased direct through salomon you deal with them if purchased from retailer you call the retailer and deal with them....be it i bought elsewhere i called the retailer and...
