I lost IQ points reading this post and I didn't have many to spare.
Don't call if a tagholder is close by simply out of mountain courtesy but there is no way you're breaking a law if on public land.
If you like the area then go to the next big ridge and look. If still nothing, keep moving.
I'll spend 10 days in the same square mile then the next hunt move 15 to 20 miles in an afternoon.
Guide jacket gets the most burn from me. I don't deal with too much rain or snow late season but I am busting through terrible brush. I get 3 years before the tears start to be a problem; which is a lot more than I can say for other jackets
Have owned sport and utility sxs for years. My favorite is the general xp. Still functional and quiet enough to hunt out of but rides night and day better than a ranger or defender.
