Have narrowed the field down to these two scopes for my 6.5 PRC build. The Trijicon seams to be brighter and have a more distinct reticle. Overall not much difference from what I can tell other than the 6 ounce weight difference. Looking for any inputs others may have that use these scopes. A bit on the fence at this point.

If you are wanting an MOA scope, i would consider checking out the 5-25x50 f1 tenmile hx.

Between the 2 you are considering, I'd go with the nx8 personally.

I have the 4-32x and I like it. I’ve seen the 4.5-27x at a show and it was easier on the eye than the NF. I’ve got the NF on a 7PRC, but I would probably prefer the better image quality of the Trijicon.

You really can’t go wrong with either. If you end up going with the Trijicon, let me know how it works for you. I may move the NF and pick one up, too.

Trijicon. Putting it up against the ATACR would make it a tougher choice, but then I'd still pick the Trijicon based on price.

Seems to be a split jury own this one. I have a NF SHV 5-20 that is a good scope, but is a bit disappointing in the last 15 min of light based on my NM elk hunt this year. Having compared the NF and Trijicon it seams that the Trijicon will bring in more light. Exit pupils tend to point to that in addition to the 56mm Objective. Appears that either NF or Trijicon would be a good buy. Thanks for the inputs as I am trying to decide in the next month or so. Still waiting on McMillan stock to ship to me to complete the build.

I have 3 NX8s and I feel like they're extremely tough to beat as a total package. I also don't want a 56mm objective so that'd steer me to the NF.
