282 days for my last trust filed through SilencerShop.
About to buy a rimfire can - but want to find a new LGS to run my form through so might take a minute to order.
When I first started running in middle school it was the time of the first Ipod and commercially available GPS. I couldn't afford to buy myself a fancy GPS watch and Ipod/Headphones were illegal for racing in middle/high school so I didn't have them.
I ran for over a decade based on time...
Honestly one of the main drivers for us is state income tax/property tax. My wife and I are in our prime earning years and moving to an income tax state could end up costing us a lot.
So state income tax and proximity to an office while we are waiting for a couple more promos are the main...
I use the Runners kit bag and can VERY TIGHTLY fit inside the following:
Sig p365xl with Holosun 407k - no light
Vortex Viper 10x42
Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter
Bushnell Range Finder
Keys
Chapstick
Slim wallet
The pistol is on the right side in the back pocket, the binos are on the left...
I see in the thread you are debating Hawaii or Alaska and I would choose one vs. the other depending on when you go.
We live in the PNW and attempt to go to each state 1x a year for maybe a week or so. Hawaii every February and Alaska sometime in Late August or Early September.
We always go...
We are in the PNW and winters last forever....
But we also take 1-2 weeks every year in feb/march to go to Hawaii to break out of the funk. We just got back and I am feeling like I can maybe make it to summer.
Haven't posted in awhile, but I haven't been skipping the workouts. Just less forum time with life currently.
5 miles of 3/4 mile intervals
5x 50 meter strides
100 pushups
50 curls
100 situps
Unlimited PTO crew here. The "discretionary" PTO actually helps a lot compared to a limited PTO I used to have.
When I had a limit it was hard to take "selfish" PTO days away from the family, but with unlimited I can take long weekends and opening weekends without feeling like I am taking PTO...
I use a Trex Arms sidecar and a Vedder light tuck.
I'm debating a black arch because I like yhe sidecar but I don't always want the gun and a spare mag and the Vedder isn't as comfortable as the TRex. But I also don't want to be that invested in Holsters for a $600 gun.
I carry AIWB whenever I carry. I do the Sigp365XL with 15 rounders and the Holosun 407k. No issues with that setup through a few thousand rounds.
I will say depending on the season and my training routines if I am carrying 3-5 more lbs than usual the AIWB isn't as comfortable as when I am in...
I used to be able to get all the way through the song twice in my college years. These days I make it a couple minutes in and just accept times have changed. 🙃
Skipped days posting (but I didn't skip my workouts)
12 mile run pushing the sleeping toddler
50 weighted situps holding said toddler
36 curls
I did 3 times through the "Moby Flowers" pushup exercise where you turn on the song flowers and when it says bring Sally up you push up, when it says...
Honestly my workouts are boring these days - just variations on the same theme
4.25 run
75 pushups
40 dumbbell curls
75 situps with russian twist between each situp.
11 mile run 900 feet gain
100 push-ups
30 "baby weight" skull crushers
100 bicycle crunches
30 "baby weight" situps
I inflated the stroller wheels for today's run and it was much easier up hill, but it felt like the stroller was running away on the dowhill.
The alps in the states looks to be $400 in the states, and horn hunter about the same. The internet says the full curl is 10lbs?
It's all new to me coming from carrying Gregory and Osprey, but maybe the answer is "increase my budget" for all the options I want.
I am also looking at backpacks in this range - but looking for packs that can handle up to 3-4 days? The past 2 years I carried my old Gregory pack for hunting but it was a Z55 and had lots of empty space.
Does anybody run a Pop Up 38 for "long weekend" hunts? This is my first hunting pack...
