Wintertime Blues Cheer Up Thread

Bro, we just got over 3ft of snow and our temps are 15F below the average for this time of year. Get out here with this nonsense….the end of times are upon us!!!

Just kidding…but seriously!

About 10 years ago I had a contract with a large corporation to do construction related work. One day their PM called & needed me to send a crew for a few weeks to Key Largo for an "urgent" project. I said heck yeah, got on the road with the crew & about halfway down there he sent the address it was Largo, FL instead of Key Largo. S O B... we were all ticked off but it ended up being a pretty nice place to be.

Been cutting my yard weekly for a month, ac went out this week, had to replace the carb on the blower, mosquitoes are horrible, and I found a yellow jackets nest with the bush hog on the tractor last weekend, posion ivy is also out...warm weather isn't all it's cracked up to be...😆 oh yeah forgot to mention fire ants...those bastards will bite you any time of year.

We are in the PNW and winters last forever....

But we also take 1-2 weeks every year in feb/march to go to Hawaii to break out of the funk. We just got back and I am feeling like I can maybe make it to summer.

Central WI is getting better. If forecast holds true will be in the 70s this next week. Just hope it is with out bad storms. I just need it to get daylight out sooner.

It’s been freakin cold here in northwest NM. Haven’t had much snow this past month. Doesn’t last long when we do. Just crazy 70 mph winds and freezing cold sunny days!

Setup my ground blind last weekend, turkey opener is April 15 in MT! For me, that signals the end of winter (with or without snow). Praying for some warm temps so I can chase bears over green grass and pull out the fishing rod.

Long live the greatest season ever created: Winter!

Had one silver king on this am for 10 min then broke off. Pretty cool. Bite slowed then we went and caught a bunch of snapper for dinner.
