You can but your foot may slide around too much. You have to tighten your boot more and that can be uncomfortable.
Thin merino socks are much better IMHO

Yeah they will do that at first, material will quiet some with wear and wash.
That said, I don’t walk in mine as they are too warm and can get torn on thorns in the woods. The 3-way side zips do allow some venting if needed. I put mine on once I’m at the stand.

Don’t wear it walking to the stand and it will last you many years. It’s too warm to wear to the stand anyway IMHO. I always pack mine out than put it on when I get to the stand.

I have the a Wooltimate set and the FL Sanctuary set, also the Woodbury. I hunt Wisconsin and NE Iowa.
Wooltimate is heavy duty and breaks the wind better. I like it better for gun season. Too warm to move in.
FL is lighter weight, quieter, and better designed for archery and being in a tree...
Who makes an affordable waterproof glove? I’ve seen some 3mm neoprene ones on Amazon but don’t know if they’re any good.

Another vote for Filson, I’ll have it all my life so money well spent.
I also have a couple First Light merino vests, much lighter weight. Doesn’t look as classy but a nice layering piece.

Another vote for Jetstream.
I also have the Kuiu Guide. It it’s more like a deluxe sweatshirt compared to the Jetstream with its Gore. Keeps me dry in light rains for up to 2 hours.
