    Need a new pad

    I just picked up a Exped Winterlite LW to use in my floorless tent. It weights a little more but extra thickness should be worth it to me and my bad back. I haven't used it yet so I can't say for sure how it will work or last.

    Kevin, My bad and everything is good. I have also thought about trying the boots that have tops that unroll to make hip boots. I just haven't seen any in person to really look at them and see how they fit.

    I haven't hunted with Berger bullets yet but my boys gave me a 338 RUM for christmas. I will be using the 300 gr Bergers out of it this hunting season if I can get a good load worked up. It should be a beast and great for moose/grizzly.

    Bruce....that would be great if you have trees to hang a hammock. Not many places to use a hammock in Alaska or at least North Alaska.

    Do you guys with floorless tents use anything else other then a bivy bag or do you just use the bivy on top of the bare ground in the floorless tent? Just trying to figure out what all I need for my new floorless tent I have coming and yes I'm new to the floorless tent thing. Thanks
