    I ordered on of the Flat Top LRH stocks Aug 4 with a "6-8 week lead time". Was hoping to be able to use it for antelope season. A couple weeks ago I was told it wouldn't be untill after the new year. If I'm lucky maybe it will be done before spring bear rolls around.

    Yes, Wind drift is linear with respect to wind speed. It is not with respect to distance, although linear approximations with angular measurements such as the "mph gun" can be close enough for practical purposes.

    In your example you have 10 more grains of material being ejected from the end of the RUM. It will generate more recoil.
