    MeatEater with Tucker Carlson

So your saying that being objective, weighing the facts and forming my own opinions is a problem? Have fun be spoon fed “facts” by whatever tribe you subscribe to. What a joke. MeatEater with Tucker Carlson

If you honestly believe, with all your conviction that he is speaking from his heart and not listening to the 10 producers and 20 executives behind his show. Not to mention the FOX news machine…. Then I don’t know what to say to you. Are you better than the flakes that listen to CNN? And if so...

    MeatEater with Tucker Carlson

Listen I appreciate his perspective but a free thinker? I think not, he gets paid by FOX News for crying out loud. Free thinkers do not exist in mainstream media. We all need to realize it before we’re all screwed. And for the record I agree with most things he says but I know who writes his...

    All about Idaho

Is there any good info on the natural pheasant population in Idaho? I found a few things but nothing that great. I’m over in Eastern (North Eastern) Idaho and haven’t heard of or found pheasants outside of WMAs. Kind of sick of hunting those but at least it’s something. Going to get into duck...

    Game processing SE Idaho

Not a lot of options that I’ve found. There’s a place in Jackson, WY. I remember seeing one in Rexburg when I looked a while back but we do most of our own now. Buddy brought his caribou to Deemos, turned out good.

    Ground Elk fat %

What the heck are you guys doing to your ground elk that you can’t get it to patty without messing with it? Never had a problem with plain elk burgers, also have added bacon or fat depending on how I am feeling.

I fold them up and put in a ziplock with the rest of my trash and put that into a dry meal pouch after dinner. Never had an issue with smell.

    Looking at a Mathews V3 - 27" vs 31"

Ha I meant to say I would never buy a Hoyt, sorry not trying to derail the thread. Smaller bows are better for stealing to the pack, there lighter, more nimble (think top cam hitting a tree branch when you draw on a bull), etc. Lots of reasons there good for elk.

    Looking at a Mathews V3 - 27" vs 31"

I went with the 27 after shooting a Z7 for years. I don’t think it’s only function is blinds and stands, having a smaller bow is plenty useful in the elk woods. I don’t see any stability or other issues and love shooting it. Shot the vxrs last year and both the 31 and 27. Have a 28 inch draw...
