I'll add to my last post. You can also send in your action to a quality barrel maker and they will set headspace for you. It can eliminate some issues. That said, most quality barrel makers can get real close with a prefit. Again, don't cheap out.
You can also go with a barrel nut and set...
My vote wouldn't be what you asked for. I'd find a good smith and get a blank from the mfg that you and he agree on. That way your smith will warranty the barrel and work for you. You'll be money ahead in the end and likely have a better product. This opinion comes from multiple...

That's a great deal even if there is a newer model coming.
I had the same question about a thicker profile barrel several years back. It did change the group size. I can't say if it's harmonics or a bad crown job but I had impressive groups at distance before. It's not horrible now but more of an moa gun. This was not a Tikka.
I have not shot my...
I still can't figure out all the new bans/rules in Canada. Didn't they ban everything over 2,800 joules?
If your rules are 30 cal then you should be fine with any modern chambering from the last 120 or so years (I'd avoid the blackout though).
The 6.5 Creedmoor is really the best choice for your intended purpose. Low recoil, less expensive ammo/cost to load and readily available. I have plenty of choices in the safe and the 6.5 sees more action than the others.
I take it you don't own one. I load my own but still like to have new brass from time to time. Take a look at the on the shelf ammo next time you're in a well stocked store. 270wsm is not a frequently found ammo.
In the future we'll have some consolidation in the ammo market. Right now I'm...
It's hard to argue to save something that never should have been made in the first place. #abort6.8western
This is coming from a 270wsm fan that's still a little bitter. 😂 😢
I'd highly recommend looking at two different suppressors. Get a handgun suppressor and you can compromise on the 270/223. You'll regret your decision if not and you'll likely repurpose your "do it all" suppressor pretty quick.
I'd buy new or gently used off A/T. My experience with old bows, once one thing goes wrong there will be more. A bad dry fire is a lot to take on with an older bow.
My kid is headed with the grandparents while I'm down for back surgery. They want to take him into the Ruby's for some SXS and moto riding but don't want to lose him. What's the best passive GPS tracker for the Gparents to be able to view his location when cell service is not available?
That was my original plan. I wanted to apply for a few HMAs and walk in. I don't want to take somebody's spot by applying if I won't be able to hunt it. I could get lucky with something next to the road on the way in though.
I made a bit of a mistake and left my app in for unit 30 thinking I'd be good to go. Recently I found out I'd need back surgery this summer/fall and not likely able to hunt away from the truck. I could probably pull it off with a treesspass fee or guide service but I'm not able to pay the $3k...
Not sure we agree there. Dialing with a canted reticle is a good way to throw a shot off at longer distances.
Edit: are you leveling the to the canted reticle or bore?
