    Why 7PRC? What do you see as your max range on game? Do you hand load, or do you need factory ammo availability? What other rifles do you have to practice with, and how many practice (focused precision) rounds do you shoot per year?

    How many shots per group? It would be super easy if you're shooting 3 shot groups to have them not representing true center. If your zero is off by .1-.2 mil, and your 580 group is on one edge or the other of the true cone of fire, that could easily be all that discrepancy. Edit: I see 5 shots...

    No way I would recommend that. Different rifles are going to run different speeds for same loads. Barrel length, throat, etc all make a difference. I've been 100+ fps different than book speeds. You need huge changes in BC to make up for a 100fps error in MV. Going from 2700 to 2800 fps...

    I'm a bit baffled as to how it happened, as I don't understand how those gases would push that particular pin out (as well as the fact that the one pierced primer happened like 300 rounds ago). I'll probably grab the kit that also includes extractor, for future just in case.

    I'm totally uninformed (love my rifle suppressors but never even looked into shotgun), but my first thought is that the vast majority of vented rib barrels have a sighting plane far too low for what I would assume the diameter of a shotgun can to be.
