It wouldn’t do anything. Every study I've ever read points to low predation in general with eagles being the major predators on sheep. Weather patterns seem to kill sheep more than anything. Brown bears kill next to none.
Flying with multiple weapons in a case is no big deal as long as you stay under the 50 pound limit. Ammo load it in the tuffpak. Just make sure it’s secured in boxes. Think you’re limited to 11 pounds. Plenty of 9mm and 10mm on the shelves up here currently. Suppressors are no big deal up...
Trex decking. It’s a composite fake wood material. The only down side I could see to it is it generally needs more support than lumber. The newer stuff seems to hold up a lot better than the older stuff
Another idea that’s probably already been mentioned. Buy a trailer drive up with whatever fits. Ship anything that’s prohibited in Canada. Sell the trailer when you get here. You could probably sell the trailer for a profit. The roads through Canada aren’t nearly as bad as the roads in Alaska...
If you’re just catch and release anyway I’d think about targeting some big old rainbows. Might be able to time it right and catch some silvers also. Silvers tend to run towards August. I don’t do much rod and reel fishing for reds. I mostly just dip net them.
As far as what’s causing the kings...
I thought this was kinda timely.
They closed the Kenai down for kings already. Not even catch and release is allowed. Closed the salt water in Cook Inlet as well.
As others have said Bristol bay is probably the only realistic option for kings. If it was me I’d plan a trip around silvers. Fun...
First of all. What kinda self respecting Alaskan says there’s nothing to do in late winter? This is literally the best time of year. No tourists, no seasonal work dickheads. Snows deep days keep getting longer. It was below zero up on top in turnagain today and we had a blast.
Your missing...
Access for that has gotta be one of the easiest in the state. There’s sheep in a lot of that country. I’m not sure what part of the state your in now but those areas have lots of access points. It’s steep gnarly country for sure.
Rainers fairly easy if you don’t have any mountaineering experience ( depending which route you take). The guide services mostly go up the DC or ingraham. I went and climbed it a few years ago in May. It’s kinda just a long walk up hill. Real hazards exist. No real technical climbing. Later in...
Its always funny watching someone who thinks they’re super clever.
I totally wasn’t planning on hunting when I parachuted in. Things got hairy and I had to shoot this elk to survive. But lucky for me I happen to have a valid elk tag for the area.
Why didn’t I eat any of it? Well my luck of...

These aren’t foam but some kind polysomethingerather. I’ve never seen foam used indoors. They have a lot of exterior trim made outta foam that...
Yup. OnX is pretty worthless up here in my opinion. Went to BaseMap which I like but they do business with retards so I dumped them. Trying Gaia right now. Little bit of a learning curve but so far so good
