Would you stay in an air bnb with a non-vented propane heater?

Why do they keep the forced air on low? Some Airbnb hosts make me shake my head lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Building a house for penny pinchers.

Another great idea. Lowe’s and Home Depot have great sales on appliances and cabinets. I signed up for both their 0% cards for discounts and also comboed those discounts with existing sales. Maxed both of those cards out and paid them off before the interest hit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No doubt. You will save minimum of 50% on mechanicals. Not near as much in carpentry labor. Carpentry labor is always falling way behind and I drive to change that. Cracks me up when a complex concrete and framing plan come together and the mechanicals are still higher. Sent from my iPhone...

The carpenters usually get burdened with being the general contractors even when the home owner decides to be the gc. I don’t do business that way but I do know of some that have their subs mark their bid up 10% and turn around and hand it to the carpenter for the lead. All the while the home...

What part of the country is this addition being built? There’s a lot of false information about being your own GC and saving a ton of money. Majority of gcs are marking up labor, subs and material 10%. Some are as high as 15% but I’ve never heard of higher. So at best you’re saving yourself...

1.) if the ground and grade will allow build in a monolithic slab with in slab radiant heat. Run an ERV or air filtration. 2.) sounds like a smaller place- go with a combo boiler. Domestic hot water on demand and supplies your heat for the radiant 3.) single pitch and single level. The higher...

    The 6UM

Just saw a video of an az bull getting dumped at a little over 600 with this cartridge, and it sounds like Ryan’s Wyo bull was similar. Makes a guy kind of want to play with this little guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What are people using in the ways of head lamps for backpack hunting?

I run a petzl, can’t remember what series it is. I started using a peax last year and by the end of this season the battery wouldn’t hold charge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tracking in MT WY ID

It’s a very effective and underutilized technique in the west… I grew up in the pnw and feel right at home in the timber. Half the time I’m not even tracking and run into a buck or bull. I watch a lot of YouTube videos of the NE trackers and pick up lots of tid bits from those guys. I’ll cover a...

Taking Equity out of Home to Go on Guided Hunts

It sounds like you had the means to pay for it once before so it probably won’t be too difficult to pay for once again. However, if I had that much equity in a place and could borrow on it and have access to that kind of money I could turn it into a shit pile more money relatively quickly. I...

    I'm a slow butcherer...

If it’s rifle season, I know leave hide on and bone in when I quarter them. When I get them to my garage I hang them and skin them and put plastic wrap over the quarters. No need to worth about skin, hair, or cleaning up the rind on the outside. Easily cut an hour off of my butcher time and the...
