Thank you.
Cheddite primers look to be in stock. These replicate 209s and are serviceable?
Wads....seems both the Hull and Wad are the key components in the load? There is a metric shit ton of wads for selection. Is there a general "most popular" for Target loads? Windjammer
Timber didn't list it out....but it's a Haydel's. And it IS a call I keep in my bag for those who want to try and piss around. It's Cheap. Easy to find and order. And sounds good.
To piss around and put birds on a strap and feel like part of the crew.....mallard drake whistle. Should be...
RE: Loading
Been a LONG time precision rifle loader. And for my revolvers too.
Guess I simply want the ability to load my own ammo. I don't want to go TOO far down the rabbit hole. As the post above....I bought 250 AA loads. If I latch on and enjoy it and begin shooting more, I will buy...
Grabbed 250 of these. Also found Trap/Skeet club in my area that allows Public shooting for a fee. Advertises lessons and gun rental. I am well on my way to better Shotgunning (I hope....I can't get much more pathetic)
Secondary questions since a few Shotshell loaders were available.
Is there cost savings in loading Game loads? Heavy pheasant loads or custom chukar loads in 5s or 6s?
Can you load bismuth in a standard charge bar? I've already looked at the price, pen to paper....can you save any cash home...
I maybe didn't fully explain very well. I want practice ammo....that is made with quality reloadable hulls. So I can burn and re-use.
I can find Fiocchi target loads around .40 each. But are the hulls worth a shit? Same with Winchester. I can find Winchester clay ammo at .40 each. But...
My shotgunning is TERRIBLE. It's embarassing. I really need some work. Some time on clays and probably professional instruction. It's been decades since I've reloaded shotgun ammo. But I am anxious to get back into it. No progressive press, but a few hundred or more per year would keep me...
@intunegp I watched some Neeves stuff. Thanks for the suggestion. Never stumbled onto him before. His stuff is way better than others I've watched. Already recently bought a big 600 DMT. I never saw those angle wedges. I'll get those and a stone clamp coming my way and give a few a shot...
Kyle- I can send you a Snap Shirt or two and you tell me if you notice a smell. Every eBay package I open...smells.
Just bought a used wool Gallatin Columbia wool Shirt Jac last night. Fugger smells of GrandPa. If it was my Gramps maybe I wouldn't care. But yours....not so much.
I buy a handful of wool "vintage" clothing off eBay. Yea...not too proud. I should maybe buy new and full price for how many "vintage" wool Pendelton shirts in XL I've won...that are maybe Medium at best after they've been washed and shrunk for 25 years....
Many have a Funk. Some strong Musk...
Kinda funny....that exact same Spyderco S110 I am bitching about....is 5th from the top on that test.
I do NOT micro bevel. Not really sure what it is or how to do it. Seen many others claim it's their last step.
Didn't really make sense to invest a ton of effort into maintaining the...
@Marbles Can you explain or expand on your comment of "It's hair popping sharp when I finish sharpening it, but it's never that sharp pulling it out of my pocket"
I have literally thousands of dollar in knives. I am a Nife Nerd. I am TERRIBLE at sharpening. I have an Edge Pro. About every...
I am a fan of the Spyderco Manix. I have a blue on in S110V. That steel SUCKS for a pocket knife. Or at least with my limit skills in sharpening. Just don't like it. Would take way softer, less almost everything. Simply not what I thought of in the steel charts vs how it works daily. Pass...
More from the CanonSX70. All are very much massaged. But I’m learning. And also learning that the sensors on the cameras are dinky and how that limits them. But I’ve not been kind or caring to this camera. It’s rolled around the truck floorboard all over MT and ID. Still going
