LOL..the kids poses in the background cracks me up! My teenage son does the same stupid things. They think they're so funny and cool. Kids these days!
For all those who hate MeatEater and feel he is bad for hunting, do you think the same of Eastman's Hunting?
What's the difference between the two?
For the record, I'm not a MeatEater lover or hater. As with most all things in life I'm in the middle.
I do love watching these threads...
Play it back at .25 speed. Yes, you're correct, seems to have hit it in the head (you can see the ear move from the shot). Who cares though, it's dead.
MeatEater has definitely become king of the mountain. Love or hate Steve Rinella, I am very impressed with his business savviness.

For me, I have a flinch because I don't shoot enough and don't have solid muscle memory to work though it. My flinch is because I am anticipating the recoil of my rifle. My flinch becomes much less noticeable once I get a couple rounds through the chamber and my groupings get tighter...
Your #2 paragraph is spot on. I've got good equipment, just need to put the time in behind the scope.
In terms of dry fire practice to help with flinch. I'm focusing on a repeatable, methodical process to follow each time so I can perfect a sound follow through. Ryan Cleckner (NSSF) on...

Man taxes suck. Wife and I both have our own businesses so quarterly payments and tax savings are absolutely paramount. It's just not smart trying to pay it all at once.
I also noticed how much peer pressure there is from commercials, friends, and society in general. Literally everything we did involved alcohol like it was absolutely necessary. Camping, what whiskey do we need. Fishing, what beer for the boat. Hunting, night caps after a hard day of hunting...
How many of you guys are bringing a quad, SxS, or dirt bike? Buddy and I are heading there first week of June and just cannot decide to bring a quad and dirt bike or not? Looking at the unit it seems there's not a lot of trails to get around but may be worth it to aid in potential pack out...
